Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Use a wire whisk to thoroughly mix.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and airy. Add vanilla and eggs. Mix to combine.
  4. Add mashed banana and walnuts. Mix until evenly distributed.
  5. Add wet ingredients to dry. Fold to combine just until no flour pockets are visible. Do not overmix.
  6. Pour mixture into prepared pan and bake 50-60 minutes until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
  7. Let cool completely. Serve as is or with butter.
